The first step in playing my post-season game is to pick the winners of each game. For each correct pick you earn 10 points.
The second step is a little more complicated. You have to predict the combined total score of each game. You start out with 50 points for the score of each game. You lose a point for each point you are away from the actual combined score. For example, say there's a game and you predict the combined score will be 48. The actual score ends up being 24 to 10, which equals 34 points. 34 is 14 points less than the 48 you predicted, so I subtract 14 from 50 (your original score allowance) and you get 36 points for your score prediction. If you chose the correct winner for that game, you'd also get 10 points for that.
