Oh, just before I started the house...
I gave my engine to a local machine shop for rebuilding. I won't mention their name here, and you'll why learn later on.

They did a lot of local dirt track race car engines and were very busy at that time with the racing season just getting under way, so they said they couldn't get at my engine for a while. I told them I was in no rush 'cause I was going to build a house. I told them I wanted the engine rebuilt to OEM specs except that I wanted a just little more "zip" to it. The suggested a 268 degree Cam shaft which we did. It ended up they didn't get the engine done until the spring of '95 because I didn't bother them about it.

It was OK with me though because I didn't have to store it or move it until I was almost ready for it to go back into the car.
