| I am a "Therese" volunteer in the Irving/Dallas Texas area. Any volunteers in my area are welcome to contact me if you would like to coordinate efforts. You can purchase Iron-On, Business-card and Magnetic Paper at any local Super Store or Office Supply. Materials for 12 shirts, 5 magnetic mini-posters, and over 1000, business cards cost me less than $50.00 ---------------------------------------- A few ideas for promoting Therese... Decorate yourself, your house, your work/school desk, even your car with Therese Materials. Talk about the movie to everyone you can. At Church: Talk to your pastor. Ask your friend to talk to theirs. Bring Promotionals with you and ask to place them in the entry way or bulletin board. In School: Seek and Decorate. Use the site for school work. The Therese movie and site have historical details about life in France and Catholic devotions in the 1800. Use the movie or suggest the website as a homework source. Cite it and Talk about it. I live near University of Dallas (former home of Fr. Pacwa from EWTN). I will plaster the campus with posters with the help of my friends. At Work: Start small and if all else fails WEAR the movie. I work in a very secularized environment, but I obtained permission to put up the postcard and my THERESE "business cards" 5-10 cards usually disappear each day :o). I made a polo-shirt with a Therese logo, which I am allowed to wear at work. |
