How to make your own pop-ups

* Creating your own pop-ups is fun and gets you out of trouble. Your own pop-ups assists you from being banned/kicked, because you created them, using your own text/words, to suit your humour/style. Using someone else's pop-ups is like opening a box of chocolates. You do not know what the next one is. Just like someone else's pop-up, you do not know what you'll get when you click on it. Majority of pop-ups contains words/text that other users might find offensive, and in some cases getting kick and/or banned from the channel for flooding and sometimes swearing.

How to create your own pop-ups

* On your pop-up section which is on top middle icon, ( if you place your mouse pointer long enough on an icon, it should tell you the name of it ) double click on it. Once its opened go to the view section and select nicklist and click on it to open.

  - <=== menus command tells mirc to separate or put a line between the next command.

Example

Hello:/say hello $1 how are you.
-
Bye:/say Good bye $1

. <=== dot command tells mirc that its a second line of  a pop-up

Example

Good
. Hello:/say hello $1 how are you.
.-
. Bye:/say Good bye $1

$1 == replaced by the nick currently highlighted and /say is telling mirc to say it on the main current active channel. If you click someones nick and right click and select Good and then Hello. It will look like this on the channel. ( let's use the name Richard )

< yournick > hello Richard how are you.

Have fun on creating your own pop-ups. If you have any other queries please come and see us in #Vip-Lounge
