Unlike many book-turned-to-movies, The Princess Bride has done justice to its written version. The movie has vividly recaptured the emotion, fantasy and the spirit of the book. The classical tale of love and adventure has been realistically performed by the artists.
The Princess Bride hit the big screens, in the same name in 1987. Rob Reiner directed the movie with William Goldman, the author of the book, writing its screenplay. THE PRINCESS BRIDE was screened at the 1987 Toronto Festival of Festivals and London Film Festival.
