On September 16th, 2003 I went on a field trip to the Ponnequin Wind farm on the Colorado-Wyoming border. The background and another picture on this page are from my trip there. Excel Energy, Colorado's main electrical company offers the option of paying more money in customer's electric bills to buy into wind power generation, such as wind produced at this site. In some ways it makes sense. However, if you want to find a cheap price on an Air 403 wind turbine you can visit Solar Electric's Website here. I will probably be looking for other places to buy cheap wind turbines later. |
