Dear Bill & Lee:
Attached to this e-mail is an essay (Blog) that I have penned. It is intended for use on a website that I have been writing for over the past few months. it occurred to me that perhaps you might consider using it on the TRACER's site. Please, at least, check it for basic accuracy and be so kind as to inform me what you think. I served aboard from 1964 until the ship was decommissioned in 1965 and went on the the USS Eldorado out of San Diego. While in TRACER I was an AG1 in the Weather Shack With Jim Kelley and Woody Woods. I eventually made Warrant and LDO and retired in 1975. The website I write for is owned by a long-time friend and a true professional. The address is www.terribennett.com Hope you are both well. Ray Boylan LT USN (Ret.) |
Ray Boylan, AG1, 1964 and 1965 aboard the USS Tracer AGR-15. He retired in 1975 as a LT. He then became a television weatherman until 2000. His co-weather person at the tv station, Teri Bennett, got terminated this year for no apparent reason. She started a weather website and ask Ray to write for her website. You might enjoy reading Ray's comments at <http://www.terribennett.com> Below is the e mail Ray sent us.. |
