| After the Golden Gate Bridge, you see Alcatraz off in the distance (Left) and you know you are getting closer to home. The Bay Bridge to Oakland tells you that there is only a short distance to go to Treasure Island, homeport of the USS Tracer AGR-15.. The tug boats pushing us up to the dock means our loved ones will be aboard in minutes. The Trip to Station One wasn't so bad after all. Tomorrow we will have 100 67 year old geezers at the Naval recruiting stations wanting one more trip on the Tracer. |
