Radrontwo--East Coast AGR Navy

There were 16 radar picket ships in the AGR Navy: 8 on the East Coast and 8 on the West Coast. There were also certain DDR's that were also apart of the early warning system. Three East Coast ships have a website (USS Skywatcher AGR-3, USS Searcher AGR-4 and the USS Investigator AGR-9). You can reach their websites by clicking on their name below. YAGR ASSOCIATION

The 16 AGR Liberty Ships have an Association started by Harry Miller, SFM2 from the USS Protector AGR-11. The Association was formed to bring together sailors and officers of this unique group of ships. To date there have been seven Annual Reunions. Statistics on these reunions can be found on the USSTracer AGR-15 website. Harry Miller publishes a very informative quarterly newsletter that is included in your nominal annual membership in the Association. Members of each ship and Harry Miller are constantly trying to locate old shipmates.. To date the Association has located approximately 1,800 of 10,000 officers and sailors aboard these ships during their short lived career (1958-1965)..The YAGR Association has a Website which can be reach by clicking on the name.
