| Background I wrote this song after my long void of not playing the guitar for about 6 years. In the summer of 1998, my friend James placed a guitar back in my hands, and I started playing again. After we started dating and he squashed my heart into nothing but a flat artery, I wrote this song for him. Dedication Dedicated to James, the first man to serve me up a broken heart. |
