| "My worldwide TV debut!!" |
| Hey guys, Hope this finds you all well and happy, and it's not too cold for you guys in the depths of winter right now!! (Won't mention the balmy 29 dgerees we've been havin over here! oops!) Just a quick e-mail. Sorry have been so crap at sending out e-mails lately just haven't gotten round to it! Haven't disappeared from the face of the planet! Well, as the Rugby World Cup culminates this saturday in a fab final between oz and england (could we have asked for a better final?!) and all those non-rugby fans out there breathe a sigh of relief (yes there will be something OTHER than rugby on the tv now!), just a quick bit of news! As I volunteered for the opening ceremony I get to actually be IN the closing!! It's only an 8 minute show, but I get to push around one of the huge inflatable props from the opening, so actually get to be out on the field in front of a capacity stadium audience of 83,000 and a worldwide TV audience of around 4 billion!! Prob won't get shown on tv, as I'm with the prop representing Tonga, and guess the cameras will be focussed on oz and england, but it's still gonna be amazing! Our dressing room is next to the england team's too, so will be interesting!! Well, better go, will write more soon, and let you know what I've been up to and what's been going on in Sydney over the last month or so. Take care, Tracey xox |
