I purchased BamBam in 1995.  He was the first horse I ever bought for myself with my own money, so he is special to me.  He's friendly, and has a wonderful personality.  He loves to work cattle, and with some practice would do well at pen work.  He needs regular exercise (3 or so rides a week, or at least round pen or longe line work), and if he doesn't get it, he will inform you of his displeasure.  I'd feel perfectly safe putting a child on his back under supervision if he's getting ridden regularly.  If not, you'd best know what you're doing, because he will test you.  He's a great horse for anyone who likes to saddle up and ride for the pure fun of it.  He is registered with the IGHA (International Generic Horse Assn.).  Seems silly, I know, but this way I have some kind of paperwork on a grade animal proving ownership, etc, when we travel.  Besides, it's fun to be able to say, "of course he's registered!"  BamBam now belongs to Andy's teenage daughter, Jenna.  She swears she holds complete conversations with him, and loves that he never interrupts her!
