| Meet the team |
| SCSU Team Alumni recently competed at the Husky Open. The team was not only competitive, but each member that ran, vaulted, jumped or threw made finals. Here are the team's final performances- Blitz team members in bold: Women: Jodi Tarasewicz- Pole vault- 11' 1/4" 2nd place Danielle Simons- 55 m hurdles- 8.67 1st place Men: Lance Johnson- 200 m dash- 23.36 5th place Larry Miller- 55 m dash- 6.66 5th place 4x400 (Justin Antus, Jeremy Pekarek, Lance Johnson, Josh Bitz)- 3:39.97 6th place Peter Lucca- Long jump- 21'1" 3rd place Eric Gunderson- Weight throw- 52'5" 6th place John Chau- Triple jump- 44'4 1/4" 2nd place |
