VAC Eagle Hitch Schematic

Series VA tractor. Maximum version of low pressure hydraulic system used on Later production series VA tractors.  In other versions, the double acting control and remote cylinder are omitted-or-the remote cylinder retained and the rockshaft omitted.

The System is Availabe in these 4 addititional versions:

1.   above system                                                                                                                                             2.   Pump rockshaft and depth control valve only.                                                                                                                                                                  3.   Pump, one way control valve and remote cylinder only.                                                                 4.   Pump, two way control valve and remote cylinder only.                                                                                                                                                                     5.   Pump, Rockshaft, depth control valve, one way control valve and remote cylinder only

Quoted (I@T Shop Service Manual) "The depth control unit mounted on the underside of the rockshaft housing is of the two-plunger type.  The quadrant for the control lever is provided with two permanent stops'  one to limit the total lift and one to limit the total drop. An adjustable stop is also provided for selective operation.  A full pressure relief valve located in the depth control valves housing bypasses the hydraulic fluid to the reservoir when system pressure exceeds 800psi.  Ater tractor serial #5458558 the system includes an oil filter mounted in the tractor torque tube.
