If you have any newsworthy information that could make this newsletter more interesting: cartoons articles etc. please e-mail me at liveonafarm@hotmail.com Debert 2004 Debert picked a gorgious day to have their show, at least it would have been a gorgious day if it hadn't of rained most of the day. Some of the club members that were there were: Stan Mosher, Roland Cormier, Gordon Nichols, Eddie Faulkner, Melissa and Jerry Thompson. There were many interesting exhibits to view including: 10 Hp Fairbanks-Morse owned by Roland and Denis Cormier, an exhibit of army vehicles, a hay track display by Melissa and Jerry Thompson, many cars, 10 engines, and 2 tractors. Even though it was wet many people came to view the exhibits and talk about the good old days. There was a flee market that contained many different things. There was about 150 exhibitors and 300 spectators. Amherst "Rob's Field" 2004 I wasn't at Amherst so I only have a short report to write on it. On Saturday it rained and there wasn't very many there. Eddy Faulker was there with his 5hp Stickney and Roland Cormier was there with his 10hp Fairbanks-Morse. On Sunday it was sunny and some people came and brought there cars.In addition to the people that were there Saturday Stan Mosher, Denis Cormier, and Gordon Nichols came. Gordon brought his 2hp Nova. Special thanks to Roland Cormier for reporting this information to me. Pugwash Parade and Show 2004 Many showed up and made the day interesting. It was a hot, sunny day. Some who were in the parade were the Wells boys with engines, Jerry and Leanne Thompson with the tractor and binder, Roland Cormier and Melissa Thompson with Roland's 10hp Fairbanks-Morse, the Giddens brothers with their tractors, the Hollis's with their shingle mills, and many more. In addition to these at the fairgrounds were Stan Mosher with an engine,Ediie Faulkner with 5hp Stickney, Fred and Jenny Embree with their car, and a few other exhibits I can't remember off the top of my head although that does not make them any less important. Those that were in the parade helped us to win 3rd place in the non-comercial category. Sorry this was so late in coming I got busy and this was at the middle of the list of things to do. Melissa Thompson. Lorneville 2004 The show in Lorneville at Francis Vanstraten's place was very nice. The day dawned bright and sunny and many people came from all over to bring equiptment to be put on display. They also had tractor pulls and many people came to look around. Crapaul 2004 The show at the Crapaul Exibition in P.E.I. was on a sunny day. There were about 27 engines owned by: Ken Jordan (PEI), Sydney and Kirk Drummond (PEI), Ronnie, Jimmy, Kevin, and Tim Wells (Wallace Bay, NS), and Roland Cormier (Shediac,NB). Melissa and Jerry Thompson (Wallace Bay) also went and took a picture board. There were also about 15 tractors. Difinitely worth the trip across the bridge. Editor's Note: Sorry its so short.
