Notes:
This is a little gem of a show. It starts off slowly with a few noodles by the great Georgie Fame; then builds with infectious momentum until the tour de force of many a Van show, "Summertime in England", explodes with Van barking like a sly dog in the night-- squawking and scatting as the solid wall of rhythm and crashing cymbals chortles along-- horns exploding into a fanfare of "squealin' feelin".

"Caravan" is both a visit to the spiritual energy in all of us and the funk that is expressed when we let it out. I will tell no more -- for it is for you to listen and to find out for yourselves.

So grab a cold ale (or several), find a nice old chair -- one of those chairs that is part you -- and sit back and listen... let the music take you back... take you way back...
