During the Van Morrison set at the Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo on June 10, 2000, a dove landed on the stage and sat through the concert, enjoying the show from his position on top of the keyboard. When the music was over and Morrison and his band had left the stage, the dove peacefully turned over and fell to the floor, dead.
