This is mostly an instrumental cd of experimental jams but they are quite polished - man was this guy good!. There are a few vocals but mostly this is a chance to hear a stripped down version of the songs. Only one of these songs would make it to the commercial release.  I personally never cared much for 461 OB because it was just a little too laid back for my tastes. But in 1974, I was 19 years old - what did I know. The album and the music has grown on me through the years.
