1988

80 Days was a musical based on the Jules Verne novel Around the World in 80 Days that played at San Diego's La Jolla Playhouse in 1988. Ray wrote the songs for the show. You can read more about the show here:  http://www.kinks.de/40jahre/teil6_e.html  These are the demos of the 80 Days songs, all of them sung by Ray so that the cast could hear what they were supposed to sound like.

Unlike most demos which are often half-baked, these songs and arrangements are surprisingly sophisticated and include sound effects for the stage show.
