These are the so-called Fantasy Sessions from 1988. I don't have exact dates or info but i did a lot of searching and found none of this material has been released. Since John died in the spring of 1989, I would imagine these are among the last studio recordings he was involved in. Many of these songs were regulars in John & Nick's shows over the years and there are some other songs I've never heard before. A couple of the songs sound more like live rehearsals with mikes placed in the studio. The rest is all quite good quality. Also of interest are the last three songs which are parodies although i can't tell who is doing the vocals - probably Nick. It's all worth having for sure.
