New York Pop Festival - Jimi's last time playing in New York, this concert was run amok by gatecrashers who were let in for free by the white radical group, the Randall's Island Collective. As the gate was lost, managers, promoters and performers were all freaking out since there was no dough to pay out to the acts. It was under these circumstances that Jimi took the stage, having first gotten good and stoned.
