Although recorded at the Marquee Club,Wardour Street in London on 2nd March 1967, the first four tracks on this disc were for a broadcast on the German TV programme "Beatclub" and therefore merit inclusion here. The actual first broadcast date of the show was 11th March 1967 and the band were introduced by DJ Dave Lee Travis. The following tracks are a complete radio broadcast on German radio NDR for the programme "Twenclub". It was a live broadcast on 18th March 1967 and starts with an interview with Jimi and Noel conducted by Jochen Rathmann. The "Twenclub" recording is one of the earliest complete Experience shows in existence. The 17th May interview with the band was recorded at the Hotel Intercontinental, Frankfurt in West Germany and was conducted by Hans Carl Schmidt. This is the complete interview in wonderful quality. The final tracks are from the only known German video footage of the band from that year. Recorded at Stadthalle, Offenbach, West Germany on the 18th May 1967 they were first broadcast on"Beat, Beat, Beat !" Hessischer Rundfunk, German TV on 29th May 1967 and have been rebroadcast on more than one occasion since then.
