akd Drinking Wine, Sipping Time

I don't know much about this cd. It came to me in a trade without any information. It's supposed to be Hendrix in between the Experience and before the Band of Gypsys. Other than Jimi, the players are not identified. It's mostly guitar, bass and drums although on the flute suggests that it's Chris Wood of Traffic. It's highly experimental. These are all studio tracks where a lot of improv is going on - everyone seems to be searching for melody, hamony, riffs, etc.  Tracks 4 & 5 are especially wierd -- it's almost as if the players were in different rooms playing randomly and someone mixed the feeds together -- very Ornette Colman like! To make this more indecipherable, the track cuts don't make sense as it's basically one big long jam session starting with track 3.
