Pre-Broadcast FM Master Soundboard > Silver CD > EAC > WAV > FLAC

What we have here is a great little diddy of Led Zeppelin in the early days. This cd shows the benefits of remastering. You get 3 different versions of the same 23 minutes of material. The best quality is at the beginning and each successive version is degraded in quality. The Liquid Led remaster of the Pre-FM Master is very good but frankly, overweighted on the bass and vocals -- with the guitar and drums being somewhat distant. It goes downhill from there on the other versions. The concert itself was billed as "Super Session" and it included acts such as Country Joe & The Fish and the Keef Hartley Blues Band. Tivoli Gardens is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, Denmark. The park opened on August 15, 1843 and, except for Dyrehavsbakken in nearby Klampenborg, it is the oldest amusement park which has survived intact to the present day. (Wikipedia)

The March 1969 Scandinavian Tour has been a constant source of confusion to LedZep fans. Research by Godwin and Lewis indicates that two shows were performed on March 14, an early evening performance in Stockholm, followed by an 11:00 pm show in Upsala. Press clippings in Godwin's "Press Reports" confirms these facts. However, Luis Rey attributes the available soundboard and audience tapes to the Copenhagen performances two days later.
