This is another fantastic concert by the legendary Meters, accompanied by the legendary JB Horns making for a (dare I say it) legendary show. Mostly this is "legendary" because it's been readily accessible as a set bootleg releases.  This cd should have been called Funk Meets Funk - World Domination Grudge Match.  Every track is hot funk as each band blasts away - sometimes complimenting each other and sometimes trying to outdo each other (especialy noticeable on the solos). Art Neville didn't make the European portion of tis trip for some reason so he was replaced on keyboards.

I must say that is you're looking for a longer version of the The Meters/JB Horns collaborations, you should check out their Germany show, 6 days after this one. It's 3 cds of extended jams and funk funk funk.  Honestly, I like it a lot better but some people prefer the condensed Swiss show.
