Transfer: Sony SL-575UC > Sony DVMC-DA2 Media Converter (DV Hardware Codec Converter) > Final Cut Pro (minor "nip and tuck" edits, capture & chaptering) > Compressor > DVD Studio Pro (menu & DVD authoring) > DVD file set > Roxio Toast ("Fit to DVD video compression" option with 4 percent data size reduction).

Audio post capture processing in Pro Tools (normalization and a few level changes and minor clicks seamlessly removed). Audio placed back into Final Cut Pro before Compressor down-sampling.

Video attributes: NTSC 720x480 VBR 7.7 Mbps peak, 6.2 Mbps average data rate, 2-pass.
Audio: Dolby Digital 2/0 (L,R), 48 kHz sample rate, 448 kbps data rate. Stereo audio.
