From BigDee: Two shows with Van on great form - and whether Chris Farlowe is your cup of tea or not - he (or Brighton) seems to bring out the best in Van. The duets (such as It's All Over Now Baby Blue) are great. Friday's show was tighter with Van in great voice - with a real energy about the show - even telling himself off for talking too much!(end of t11). Saturday's show had a few hiccups and more banter. We even have Van introducing songs & talking to the audience. Whichever you prefer - together they captured a little of the Van magic. Most people left both shows with a smile on their face.

I've put these shows onto 3 discs. If you prefer they can easily be repsplit to 4 cds, 2 cds for each night. Jan 26 (split 12/13). Jan 27 (split 10/11).

Editing Notes: there was a little clipping on t21 > peaks restored. Taper's shout on t05 lessened.

The one problem was that I had someone behind the taper who wolf whistled during most applauses. Minor cuts have been made to appause sections to take this out where possible - it has been left in where there is tuning or talking.
