One of the best shows from Van, ever. He's 'dead-on' the whole show, taping is good, audience is quiet, setlist is typical for this period but sequenced rather niclely for a very cohesive performance from beginning to end. Van will lift the crowd to a musical peak, drop them down to a lull, and then repeat the cycle many times during the show. This is the high priest of Celtic soul delivering a masterful show with his full powers. The version of Gloria will be the best version that you've ever heard. Even die-hard, jadded VanFanatics will be entertained. Dear God, why can't we have more shows like this!
