Oteil & The Peacemakers are a sort of a jazz/funk/rock band - Hope that helps! Oteil plays bass for the Allman Brothers Band and I was originally expecting an ABB-like quality but you won't hear anything on these cds that sound even remotely like the ABB. I was pleasantly surpirsed this is high quality music and musicians with lots of funky instrumental jams.
