Biddys was a great little club--held maybe 150 or so--on Chicago's north side which, while Ciddys was open, was home to tons of gang/drug related activity. they would have only the occasional show, and an eclectic mix at that. It's a mystry why anyone would play there--aside from the dangerous surroundings and the small room, the shape of the room was a very narrow rectangle with the stage in the middle of one of the long sides and a bar going thru the middle lengthwise. basically, you could sit at the bar turned around, and there were about 8 people standing between you and the stage.
