Ten Years After
Victoria Hall
Stoke-On-Trent
Hanley, England
8 November 1972
Although this is an incomplete show, it has some songs that didn't get
captured very often during the TYA hey day (e.g. Turned Off TV Blues and
the Hanley Jam). It appears that the most of the between song stuff -- audience
clapping, tuning, interlude talking, etc -- has been elminated. Thus there
are track fades between songs --- no music is missing except as noted below
(//). Alvin's Lee's guitar and vocals are prominent on this tape --
Leo Lyon's bass and Rick Lee's drums a little less so --- and poor Chick
Churchill's organ is obscured to my ears. Still, it's vintage TYA and you'll
hear something on this CD that doesn't show up anyplace in my TYA recordings
-- "The Hanley Jam" - a fun improv, extended jam.
