Notes... I do not have the exact date for this show. This show is from a
cassette made at the station where the show was broadcast. that this torrent
comes.
From what I have been able to gather from sources on the internet, and
from the liner notes to Michaels “Atma” album... Michael & Urszula played
their first gigs in the U.S. at Max’s Kansas City in June 1974 with the band
that recorded “Atma.” Shortly thereafter they formed a new band with American
musicians. The new band (the one heard on this recording) played the Bottom
Line in N.Y.C. twice during 1975. February 19 – 23 opening for Gato Barbieri,
and again August 7-9 opening for George Benson. My best guess is that the
Rochester performance was not too long after the February Bottom line shows.
