In order to entice people to donate blood to the New York City blood bank, WXRK-FM ("K-Rock") held this concert exclusively for those who donated or tried to donate. The backing band for this show was Rat Race Choir, who for many years were (and probably still are) a fixture in the small club/ bar circuit in around NYC. They started off as a cover band and worked their way up to being John Entwhistle's band for his solo work. (see the DVD: "John Entwhistle: An Ox's Tale")

How many songs were performed is unclear - the cassette machine was left unattended and it was some time before the tape was flipped. So we miss part of Pinball Wizard and Won't Get Fooled again.  . .  But I don't think there are any complete songs missing. The "Howard" mentioned repeatedly by Leslie West refers to Howard Stern, who' morning radio show originated from WXRK's NY studios. West was a frequent guest on Sterns radio show.

Technical notes: The mix for this show is a little muddy, especially on the Entwhistle songs and West's guitar on the encore is very hard to hear. I put this down to it being a charity event and there not being much of a budget for better production values. There were no commercials or station ID's to edit out. There was some pre-taped Howard Stern material (Entwhistle participating in some song parodies from Stern's morning show - it was very childish and dated) that was aired between the West and Entwhistle sets that was removed.
