Hank Williams
Sunset Park, PA
13 July 52

For those of you who think Hank was primarily a  C&W singer, this set will stun you. Hank could sing the White Man's Blues and he connected in a journeyman way to everyman.

  1.  Introductions
  2.  Hey Good Lookin' - cut finish
  3.  Band Intros - cut start
  4.  Fire On The Mountain
  5.  Lonesome Whistle Blues
  6.  Jambalaya
  7.  Long Gone Lonesome Blues
  8.  Half As Much
  9. I Saw The Light
10. Love Sick Blues

A very rare audience recording of one of Hank's 3 sets on this day. Hank plays Jambalaya and explains exactly what it is to the audience, tells some jokes, and sounds like he's in a great mood.  His contract called for him to play 3 sets that Sunday afternoon in July.

Drifting Cowboys Jerry Rivers and Don Helms were with him.  Local musicians Roy Perkins played bass and Bobby Montgomery played rhythm guitar.

Melvin Price, a musician in a local band, made the recording. God bless you Melvin wherever you are.
