Recorded shortly after the release of White Hot & Blue (currently OOP?), this show captures Johnny about a month after Jon Paris and Bobby Torello joined the band.  The performance lasted > 3 hours, of which at least 30 minutes is Johnny's drunken ramblings. It's quite a shame since he and Edgar had just compelted an outstanding show on 5 Sep 78 at The Bottom Line in NY. Still, this show is a very interesting performance nonetheless. The songs often become jams of 15-20 minutes. Boney Maroney clocks in over 18 minutes and is reported to be the longest version ever.

Johnny is pretty drunk which is pretty obvious when he talks to the crowd. No matter, the crowd was pretty drunk too. But it must not have been a pretty site. At one point, a fan tried to make it out the emergency door but threw up a few feet shy.  It must have been quite a scene.

The sound on this is mostly very good but Jon's harmonica was gained too high and it can be harsh and piercing. Keep your fingers near your volume control, there's nothing else to do for it.

One other point. The recording originally was done over 3 cassette tapes so you'll notice the tape flip cross fades at 0:47, 1:32, 2:15 and 2:59.
