During the early spring of 2004 we redid your backyard. We now have a garden area, some new trees and srubs as well as a lawn. A new place for "family fun".
In the background you can see our garden area along the wood fence.
It may not be a "Minnesota Garden", but we had fun picking and eating corn from our backyard garden. Here Tracy is picking our first ear.
Dustin is enjoying helping mom husking that first ear.
Beans, zuccini, gourds are among the additional garden items. Yummy!
Of course once the beans are picked, snapping them is a great family activity.
The new roses were beautiful.
We have a patio set now and enjoy "meals out". In the background along the fence you can see some of our new fruit trees.
Here we are visiting the Science Center in May and pause for a photo. We saw all kinds of displays including a SR71 aircraft.
It seems every Science Center has a movie. How about "BUGs" in 3D?
Climbing in the trees at the Fullerton Arboretum is one of Dustin's favorite activities.
Every so often the local county agencies have an exposition and Dustin enjoys seeing all the machines and other stuff. Here Dave and Dustin check out the big tractor used in compacting trash at the landfill. BIG steel wheels!
