Jenny McCarthy's Biography




Jenny McCarthy was born in Chicago, IL November 1, 1972. She posed for PlayBoy in the October 1993 issue, and then won the title for Playmate of the Year in 1994. Jenny was featured in a couple episodes of "Baywatch". She was in the movie "The Stupids" (1996) with Tom Arnold and was also featured in a small bit role as a nurse in the movie "Things to do in Denver When You're Dead" (1995) with Andy Garcia. She jump started her career on MTV's "Singled Out" as a co-host with Chris Hardwick in 1995/1996, then moved on to her own comedic show called "The Jenny McCarthy Show" (1997) which was also featured on MTV. When all the television networks were raving and wanting Jenny McCarthy, she received her own sitcom called Jenny (1997) on NBC, which didn't do as well as the network expected, after about 8 episodes it flopped. Jenny, then, was casted in BASEketball (1998) with Matt Stone and Trey Parker (the creators of South Park). After taking a short break from stardom, she married John Asher, while filming in the movie Diamonds (2000). They were married on September 11, 1999. She then landed a role as Sara Darling in Scream 3 (2000). Jenny also added to her credits a small part in the flick "Python" (2001). She gave birth to her son, Evan, in 2002 and then was casted in the movie Crazy Little Thing (2003). She also landed a role in the spoofy flick Scary Movie 3 (2004) opposite of Pamela Anderson! Jenny posed again for Playboy in 2005 and posed for the January 2005 issue. Jenny wrote and was filmed in the movie Dirty Love which came out September 2005 that her husband John Asher directed, Carmen Electra also had a part in the movie. She also scored 2 TV shows at the same time, one on UPN called "The Bad Girl's Guide", which was cancelled after the first season and the other on E! Entertainment Television called "Party @ the Palms w/ Jenny McCarthy", and you can check that one out Wednesdays at 10:00PM.
