Doug Burk

This page is about Doug, my fiancé.

Doug likes to watch Hockey and he used to like X-Files before David Duchoveny left. Now he likes to watch Justice Files, FBI Files and The New Detectives. He doesn't eat much he's been on the Atkins diet since February. He lost about 60 pounds and has managed to keep it off. He likes to play Driving games on PlayStation2 and any other game his kids want him to play with them. Doug is 36 years old. His birthday is November 13, 1965. He graduated from Whitmer High School in 1983 located in Toledo, Ohio. He went to the University of Toledo and got his Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, he graduated in 1995. Currently Doug works for the Wood County Auditor, Michael Sibberson. Doug is the Chief Geographic Information Systems Officer or Chief GIS Officer. Doug is also an Authorized Instructor for Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). Doug has started his own contracting business with other townships within Wood County. His company is called Geographic Project Specialist Inc. (GPS) he will soon have his web page up and there will be a link for those of you who would like to know just what the heck GIS is. Doug and I met in 1999 when I was working at the Courthouse as an intern for the probation office. We ran into each other a few times at the snack bar before we really started talking. I would go there to get bottled water and he would get gum. I think it was all in one day that we saw each other at the snack bar and then we kept going back to see if the other was there. I finally asked him if he was chewing all that gum or if he was just coming to snack bar to see me. He laughed and said something funny and from there we were inseparable.
