This is the Valence N-Charge Model 130HL01 Power System's battery. It is 11.8 inches wide, 9.1 inches deep, 0.5 inches thick and weighs 2.97 pounds. Original Price on these was  around $300 plus the adapter. You simply attach the adapter to this battery and plug your ac adapter into it and the other end into your laptop. Once the battery is charged (and you can charge it without the laptop attached) you simply unplug you ac adapter and use your laptop from this external battey for hours!
