Traffic Offender Program
Police and Community Youth Club Sutherland
Having passed all the required regulatory
road knowledge tests and then passing a driving ability road test, which shows
one's ability to drive your car safely, you may be awarded a Licence to drive a
vehicle on the Australian Public roads. But driving should be regarded as a
privilege and not a right. Those drivers that ignore or break the rules
governing our roads will be subject to fines, suspension disqualification or
cancellation of licence or even imprisoned. The NSW Police Service is there to
enforce the law and thereby making the roads a safer place for all. A large
part of the Police role is education. The Traffic Offenders Program is one way
our Police Service is making the community aware of the rules and the
consequences if they are not adhered to.
