Signs of the Zodiac
kjhjAries - 1st sign ot of the zodiac, and symbolised by the ram.  Aries reigns from 21st March to the 20th April.  Aries governs the head and brain, and Aries are prone to headaches, migraines, sunstroke, neuralgia, and depression.  Traditional traits of an Aries are adventours, energetic, pioneering, courageous, enthustiastic, quick-witted, dynamic, confident, selfish, quick-tempered, implusive, impatient, foolhardy, and daredevils.  Their ruling planet is Mars and their element is Fire.

Taurus - 2nd sign of the zodiac.  Symbolised by the bull.  Taurus is between 21st April and 21st of May.  It is a Sun sign and ruled by the plante Venus.  The element is Earth.  Traditional traist are warmhearted, loving, patient, reliable, persistant, determined, placid, security loving, jealous, possessive, resentful, inflexiable, self-indulgent, and greedy.  Taurus governs the neck and throat and are prone to throat infectiosn, goiter, and respitory aliments like asthma.  They are also said to be at risk of desases of the genitals, womb, liver, and kidneys, and of abscesses and rheumatism.  Because of their inclination toward physical lazyiness, Taurens can also become overweight.

Gemini - 3rd sign of the zodiac.  Gemini is symbolised by the twins.  The twins rule between 22nd of May and the 21st of June.  It is a Sun sign, ruled by the planet Mercury and an Air sign.  Geminis are witty, lively, youthful, versital, good communicators, intellicutual, eloquent, adaptable, energetic, nervous, tense, superficial, inconsisitant, cunning, and inquisitive.  Gemini rules the arms, shoulders, hands, lungs, and nervous system.  They need to be aware of diseases of the upper body as well as nevouse and plumonary disorders.  Their ruling planet is Mercury and their element is Air.

Cancer - 4th sign of the zodiac.  Cancer is symbolised by the crab.  The crab rules betweent 22nd June to 22nd July.  The crab is ruled by the Moon and it's element is Water.  Traditional traits for Canceans are emotinal, loving, intuative, imaginative, shrewd, catious, protective, smypathetic, changeable, moody, clinging, overemotinal, touchy, and have a hard time letting go of things.  Cancer governs the chest, breast, elbows, stomach and digestion, womb, and female reproductive organs.  It is said Cancirans are libale to breast cancer, pleusiry, dropsy, piles, and varicose veins.  Due to their excitablity they are also subject to weak digestion, gastrits, and other stomach ailements, there is also a tendancy to coughs and weakness of vision. 

Leo - 5th sign of the zodiac.  Lec is symbolised by the lion.  The lion rules between 23rd July to the 22nd August.  It is ruled by the Sun and it's element is Fire.  Traiditonal traits of Leos are gemeours, warmhearted, creative, enthustiastic, faithful, loving, borad-minded, expansive, pompous, patronizing, dogmatic, bossy, inferfering, and intolerant.  Leo governs the upper back, forearms, wrists, spine, and heart.  Associated aliments are pain the back and lungs, spinal complaints, diseases of the heart and blood, sickness in ribs and sides, convulsions, pleasentries, violent burning fevers; and in the past plague, pestilence, jaundice, and some aflictions of the eyes. 

Virgo - 6th sign of the zodiac.  Virgo is symbolised by the virgin.  The virgin rules between 23rd August to the 23rd Septemeber.  It is ruled by Mercury and it's element is Earth.  Traditional traits are modesty, shyness, reliable, meticulous, practical, diligent, anaylitcal, intelligent, a worrier, fussy, conservative, perfectionist, overly critical, and harsh.  Virgo governs the hands, abdomen, intestions, spleen, and the central nevrous system.  Illness Virgos are prone to are colds, catarrh, coughs, pleurisies, pneumonia, and nervous instablilies.  They are also every interested in drugs and exotic cusine and must treat their sensative stomachs with care.

Libra - 7th sign of the zodiac.  Libra is symbolised by the scales.  The scales rules between 24th Septmember and 23rd October.  The ruling planet is Venus and Libra's element is Air.  Traditional Libran traits are dipolmatic, fair, urbane, charming, romantic, idealistic, peaceful, socialble, easygoing, changeable, indeciseve, easily influence, guilable, self-indugent, and flritaious.  Librans are also very often good looking.  Libra governs the lumbar region, lower backs, and kidneys.  They are suspectible to aliments of the kidneys and bladder and weakness of the back, and lumbago.  Libras need to avoid over indulgence in food and drink. 

Scorpio - 8th sign of the zodiac.  Scorpio is symbolised by the scorpion.  The scorpion rules from the 24th October to the 22nd November.  The ruling planet is Pluto and their element is Water.  Traditional traits are forceful, determined, intuitive, magnetic, powerful, passionate, exciting, emotional, resentful, jealous, obstinate, complusive, obsessive, and secrative.  Scropio governs the pelvic region, urinary and reproductive systems, and are prone to aliments of the liver and kidneys, and genital ills. Abcesses, boils, carbuncles, ruptures, piles, fistulas, and ulcers may also affect Scorpions. 

Sagittarius - 9th sign of the zodiac.  Sagittarius is symbolised by the archer.  The archer rules between 23rd Novemeber to the 21st December.  The archer's ruling planet is Jupiter and his element is Fire.  Traditional Sagittarian traits are optimistic, freedom loving, philosophical, intellictual, good humoured, jovial, honest, straighforward, restless, tactless, blindly optimistic, irresponsible, careless, and superficial.  Sagittarius governs the the hips, thighs, and sacral area.   Associated aliments are aliments of the hips and thighs and sciatara and rheumatism.  They are also said to have poor skin, hair, and nails. 

Capricorn - 10th sign of the zodiac.  Capricorn is the symbolised by the goat.  The goat rules between 22nd December and 20th January.  The goat's ruling planet is Saturn and it's element is Earth.  Traditioanl traits of this sign are prudent, patient, practical, careful, resevered, humourous, ambitious, disiplined, fatalistic, pessimistic, over convential, rigid, miserly, and grudging.  Capricorn governs the knees, bones, and skin.  Capricorns may be libale to fractures of the knees and bones, skin disease (from leporsy to boils). 

Aquarius - 11th sign of the zodiac.  Aquarius is symbolised by the water bearer.  The water bearer rules between 21st January and 19th Febuary.  Traditional traits of the water bearer are indepentdent, intellicutal, humanitarian, friendly, loyal, honest, origianal, inventive, contrary, unpredictable, detached, unemotinal, perverse, and intractable.  Aquarius governs the legs from the knees to the ankles and the circulation of blood.  Aquarian aliments are spasmodic and neverous complaints, straines or cramps in the legs, catarrh, diarrhea, dropsy, goiter, and delirium tremens.  It is important for Aquarians to avoid alcohol.

Pisces - 12th sign of the zodiac.  Pisces is symbolised by the fish.  The fish rules between 20th Febuary to the 20th March.  Traditional Piscean traits are compassionate, imaginative, kind, sensative, unwordly, selflessness, sympathectic, intuative, idealistic, vague, secretive, escapist, easily led, and weak willed.  Pisces governs the feet, liver, and lymphatics, and are threatened by anaemia, ulcers, boils, skin diseases, gout, foot disorders, lameness, inflammation, and heavy periods.
