| Vengeance and Attack |
| Magickal warfare is not something to be taken on lightly, and always consider that should your spell misfire it will come back on you, the sender. Many witches put that possibilyt far out of their minds however and go quickly along their path. Others like myself truely believe there's a time and a place and a reason and situation for everything, and don't discount the value of such rituals and knowledge without making it a habit of using it I by no means encourage magickal warfare, it can be very dangerous, however you cannot turn a blind eye to the unpleasant aspects of any subject, from magick to religion to history to science and nature. Therefore the information on this page is presented for educational purposes. Witchcraft for destructive purposes is exactly like witchcraft for constructive purposes. The difference is in symbolism and magickal intent. There are generally two kinds of operations for this sort of work, bindings and curses. Bindings make use of the same symbolism as that in protection rituals. Hertha, the Great Mother, seen in her negative aspect as the terrible, dark, Stony Bringer of Inertia, and Dame Habondia in the aspect of Noticula-Hecate, Lady of the Night and Death. On the other hand, curses partake of the magickal element fire mainly and Cernunnos, the Horned One. Cernunnos is the spirit of fire and energy and symbolised sometimes by the light he carries. The fact that he carries a light gives us his other name, "light bringer" or Lucifer. Cursing is a complex thing and does in fact deserve an entire section in itself. However, I feel that if you honestly are going to use this medium then you can do your own research but I will touch on some basics. Spells work better if the ground work has been laid out before their preformed but this is very true in the subject of curses. The person who knows he/she is under a curse responds much better to it even if he/she does not believe in the practioner's powers. If it's actual physical confrontation you want then a personally delievered verbal curse might be your style, verses a poppet. The poppet has it's drawbacks, such as it can be used against you in countermagick. In a verbal curse getting your victim alone is always preferable but not a requirment. What is required is eye contact, which can be tricky. When delivering your curse you may wish use the hand-of-power gesture (left outstretched, fist clenched, first two fingers pointed at victim) but I personally find this silly. Pronounce your curse clearly and evenly. Some people like to keep the curse simple like misery and misfortune and some other people prefer to go into graphic deatil. My advice to be is to talior your approach to your viticm, and above all no matter what you do be sure you don't want to be laughed at. If you do confront your victim immediately afterwards you should preform your ritual, waste no time. There are some things you will need to do in order to cast the effective curse. The first is build up an effective dark current or dark vortex of energy. This involves calling up all the repressed hositilities and hatred from childhood and onward. Your goal is to totally enrage yourself and in some cases this can take days even. I will restate this is not something to take on lightly, because some harm usually comes to the practioner himself in this stage ecspecially. Also, if your intended victim is adequately protected then you could be faced with a return of your own current or one of his. The Black Fast This is a method of building up a dark current. At every mealtime you should, if at all possible, confront wht you would consider a delicious meal either in real life or in your imagination and sternly refuse in it favour of a tiny bit of food, a vitamin pill to keep your body intact, and a glass of water. Keep this up for a limited time both starting and finishing the fast within a properly cast circle which you have cast with the circumambulaition preformed widdershines (against the sun) and naming your intention in the form of a curse. An example curse is "(Victim's name) so come to grief." Every time you refuse food repeat this curse to yourself. You should start this proccess at the full moon and end it on the new moon, meaning it lasts around two weeks. If you are being hassled about your meals you can easily justify it with the excuse you are watching what you eat or dieting. I do not recommend this method at all, it is terribly unhealthy. Candle of Bewitchment This is a simple way of casting a curse on someone. Traditoanlly this is preformed at the stroke of midnight but in all honesty the best time for an attack is when your sure your victim is asleep because then he/she is most defenseless. It's said you must do this just after or before the new moon (you want to do it durning the Dark Moon). At as close to exactly the same time each night you can manage cast a floor triangle using a Martial Incense. Other objects you will need for this ritual are a phial of Sabbat Oil, lamps of art, chalice, cord, Athame, and a ritual or workbook. Depeinding on if your spells is a binding or curse then you should may surround your alter with a circle of cypress twigs, marble graveyard chips, and pieces of bone or Cernunnos paraphernalia (holly, fig, animal horns, ivy, etc.). Within the triangle should be your candle of betwitchment (black for binding and supression, red for strafing and torment). Before lighting it exorcise the candle. A little powdered myrrh can be mixed with the wine of consecration. Next, attune your deep mind to the correct wavelenth. If you are using a red candle conjure Cernunno and allow yourself to be possed by wrath and furyand again preform your circumbulations widdershins. Take your red candle in your right hand and anoint it with Sabbat oil with your left hand. Start at the center of the candle and work first up, then down, up again and then down again. Do this for a full five minutes. With each stroke chant a chant describing your intent. As you chant you must try to actually see your spell working. If you are preforming a binding type of operation then you will want to invoke Habondia in her dark aspect Nocticula with a black candle. Your visualisation for this kind of spell should bring up all your childhood fears of the dark, desereted churchyards, the closet monster, and other horrible childhood fears and fantasies. Repeat your conjuration of the four quarters: Agency of Ineffable Name and Vast Strenght! Ancient Dark One; Thou cold, barren, mournful and pernicious! Thou whose word is as stone and wholse life is adiding. Thou Ancient and Alone Impenetrable One! Thou who keepest promises, who art weak and weary; whose cares are greater than any other, know neither pleasure nor joy; Thou Old and Cunning, supreme in artifice! Bringer of ruin and despain be present here and lend thy aid! Consecrate the black cnadle with Sabbat oil in exactly the same way you did the red one reciting your charm of intent as you do. With both the red and black candle after the anointing place it in the alter triangle and trace a glowing blue circle cross in the air above it with your Athame. Light the candle with the words "So mote it be!" and settle down to a vigil of concentrated hate or rage. Do this until the candle burns itself out. This is why you will want you use slender short tapers, this process can be very straining. Once you have attuned your mind your victim will probably begin to feel signs of anxiety and depression in about a day or so. This is not like the movies, witchcraft doesn't take effect immediately it takes time. In most cases it takes about 24 hours for the spell to begin to take effect. Binding operations are slightly different from curses. Usually the binding is performed by a symbolic cord or chain. Therefore these types of operations fall into the sphere of Saturn. If you wish to bind someone to prevent his/her from carrying out some action or another then here are some very good methods. However remeber if it misfires it will come back to you. I personally reccomend reserving this option for serious threats only to onself or others. The Tanglefoot Charm First you will need to get an object link from your intended victim. Some good objects links are strands of hair which can be plaited into a cord with some red twine, or an article of clothing that allows room for the tying of knots. Then on a night when the moon is waning cast you triangal with Saturaian incense and using bitter wine in the chalice. To decorate your alter you may want to use bones, twigs, and stones. Invoke the dark power using the circle croses and counterclockwise circumambulation and don't begin your spell until you feel the precense. As you always use your left hand for things with a dark nature take the cord into your left hand and tie nine knots in it. Start tying your knots on the outside adn work inwards. Chant while you tie the knots and visualise the result of your spell: (Victim name) I conjure thee, by night your eyes are blinded! By clay your ears are stopped! By earth you mouth is sealed! By rock your limbs are bound! As you tie the last night chant "So mote it be!" Next bury your knotted cord somwhere softly chanting: Twist and tangle (victim's name) never to rise up again. Your eyes are dimmed, your limbs are bound. Thus I lay you down to rest still and silent in the ground! In the event you ever wish to unbind this spell simply work the spell in reverse except invoke the powers of air to release your victim and dig up the cord on a Wednesday when the moon is waxing. The Square of Mars In the Square of Mars all the numbers on each line have a sum of 65. When the moon is waning on a Tuesday take your exorcised talisman saquare and divide it into twenty-fiew compartments, five down, five across, with pen and ink of art. Burn a Martial Incense and make up a chant or word which you feel repersents the power of war and destruction. The numbers in the Square are as follows: line one; 11, 24, 7, 20, 3 line two; 4, 12, 25, 8, 16 line three; 17, 5, 13, 21, 9 line four; 10, 18, 1, 14, 22 line five; 23, 6, 19, 2, 15 Write each number while infusing it with destruction. Once you have finished with number 25 seal the square with the triple cross and the words "So mote it be!" When you have finished wrap the square in exorcised cloth and keep it in a safe place. The Spell of the Black Cross/Reversed Pentagram You can use either symbol for this spell depending on if you intended to curse or bind. The Black Cross is the necromantic circle cross the is symbolic of death and is used for binding. The upside-down pentagram significies flesh over spirit and is used in this instance for cursing. For this spell you will need a recent photograph of your victim. On a night when the moon is waning use and Incesnse of Wrath. Your tools on the alter should be your Athame, water, fire, lamps, wand, pen and ink. Place the photograph in the alter triangle. While approaching the alter facing north state the purpose of your ritual and call upon either Cernunnos or Nocticula-Hecate. You want to call them to witness your rite, not preform it. After clearly stating your purpose name the photograph by asperging and fumigating it three times stating 'Creature of paper I name thee (victim's name)! Thou are (X)!" each time. Next using your wand breath life into the photo by writing th eperson's name in glowing blue energy above it three times. Take the photograph around the circle clockwise carrying your wand in the right hand. Show the image to the four quarters starting with the East and chant the victim's name and finish with the North. Moving to the West of the circle from the North face East and replace your wand and using your left hand take your pen and ink and draw the circle cross of death or reversed pentagram on the photo. As you do this chant "I (witch name) inflict upon thee (victim's name) such and such sorrow or misfortune." Alternatively simply state your intent. Put down the pen and ink and take you Athame in you left and repeat the words adn actions using the blace in place of the pen. See the blue energy from your blade glowing against the photograph. Then, exhibit the charged photograph held in your left hand to the north, west, south and east three times in that order in a row. Each time you raise the symbol annouce at each quarter: "As the symbol dwindles so shall my words prove effective!" To finish visit the home of your victim in secret (this can be done that night or the next day) and draw lightly in Sabbat oil or gum Arabic the circle croos or reversed pentagram on the threshold of the apartment or house. Then trace over the symbol with you Athame to charge it. Once this is done destroy your symbol slowly. You can do this easily by dissolving it in a pan of dilute nitric of hydrocholiric acid face up and be sure you watch the image fade. Another method is to tear a small piece off the photo every night at the same time you preformed the original ritual. The Barabbas Spell Cast a triangle on a night when the moon is waning, using an incense of wrath and chastisement. Deocrate you alter with your Cernunnos embellishments. Place your thurible in the centre of the triangle. Summon Cernunnos and then take a small bit of purified salt, coriander seed, and a small carnelian or sardstone and place them in your pestle and mortar. Grind these ingreidents together until they are sufficently mixed; they don't need to be a poweder. Take the mixture and divide it into three heaps and at midnight scoop on the heaps into your left hand and chant the first part of the spell passing it from hand to hand: Salt and coriander, I conjure thee by Barabbas, by Satanas, by the devil cursed be! Not as salt and coriand I call thee by the heart of (victim's name)! And then cast the mixture in the fire with your left hand and continue chanting: As thou burnst, so let the heart of (V) burn; and bring it here to me! Counjured by the Queen of Sard, by the underworld itself, by the sailors on the sea! (V) I summon thee by Barabbas, by Satanas, by the devil conjured be! By the underworld itself, Spirit of the Sard, enter in (V) and bring him quickly here to me! Powers of the ababttoir, guide him here to me! Powers over Cocodover, bring him quickly here to me! With more messages I send to call thee, by the Queen of Sorcery, by the Queen of Elvenhome who walks the fields by day, the crosswords haunts by night spinning wars and enmity! I join you all! Now go we all enter (V) silently, from thence I return home yet again after twisting his side, his lungs, and the strings of his heart most terribly! Repeat this three times in all using the second and third heap of powder for each repetition. When the thrid repetition is finished seal it with the triple cross (made with the LEFT hand) and "So mote it be!" More Vengence and Attack |
