Lilith Invocation

She soars through the night
An angel, though not of light
Her wings spread across the moon
Her talons weave an enchanted loom
The threads spell out my name
"Come to me, my child" she bades
And I do so happily
Surrendering myself to this eldritch being
The first female, this demon,
This angel, this Goddess
Lilith!  I call you!  Answer my plea!
On this night of power, be with me!
Share my eyes, speak with my voice!
If not, then let me know
That I am truly your child!

Dark is she, dark as night!
With lips like red wine
Her eyes, oh her eyes
The gateways to another world
On the tree she hangs about
Flicking her tongue, scratching her scales
Waiting to offer the Fruit
Of Wisdom, Secrets, and Life
Llith, oh Lilith, What is my name?  What is my name?
