Flower and Tree Faeries
Alder:  The fairies who associate with the alder tree are known as "dark fairies" and are very protective.  When the leave the tree they often leave in the form of a Raven.

Apple:  Apple trees are sacred to many gods, goddesses, and most all faeries.  They are however also the reputed home of unicorns


Basil:  Basil faeries awaken devotion and disipline.

Birch:  This is the "lady's tree" indicating it is associated with faery queens.

Buttercup:  Faeries from this flower bring healing energies and can be benefical in helping rediscover selfworth

Carnation:  Carnation flower faeries give us healing energy and their contant also strengthens our auras. 

Clover:  Clover faeries can help us in finding fertility and love.

Daisy:  The daisy is another favourite flower of wood nymphs and can awaken creativity.
Elder:  This is a tree sacred to druids as the tree of the beginning and end. 

Gardenia:  Gardenia faeries are usually extrememly protective of children, but they can stimulate peaceful feelings. 

Heather:  Faeries of the heather flower are drawn to shy humans. 

Jasmine:  Jasmine fae love to give plesant dreams.  They are also said to develop mental clarity.

Lily:  These faeries are good helping humility and purity develop.

Oak:  The faeries of the oak tree awaken prophetic visions.


Rose:  Rose faeries have been known to help with feritliy and love matters. 

Sage:  These faeries can help one gain wisdom.

Snapdragon:  Snapdragon faeries can be protective toward humans.

Thyme:  While there are no certain faeries associated with thyme, it has been said to draw the fae into bedrooms.

Willow:  Willows are favoured by dryads and water fae.  They often open communication and visision.  The Willow is also associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid.
