| Gypsy Magick |
| For many people, the word "gypsy" brings many things to mind. Among them are prejudices and thoughts of fortune tellers and tarot cards. This is both correct, and incorret. What we consider gypsies are actually a race, or culture, of people called the Romani (or the Rom). For centuries they have dealt with prejudices and preserved their unique culture. Within this culture is a very unique belife system, system of magick, language, and way of looking at the world. In the Romani tradition, the ones who teach the magick and traditions are called "drabarni." Like many traditions, in this tradition magick is thought. From our thoughts come matter and change. All of life is magick. |
