Getting Rid of Unwated Lovers and Rivals

    Sometimes people who were once attrative to you just aren't anymore. Sometimes realtionships come at the wrong time or are no longer healthy or productive for us. Other times we just get weird, freaky obsessive beaus (or belles?) that we'd rather get rid of. In love most of the time we will always have rivals also. For both these unplesant facts of life these are some magickal ways to deal with them. Of course, you should take other measures to break off a realtionship too; these spells and rituals can only make it easier.

Locking Out Intimacy:
     This spell should be done on a Wednesday during the waning moon. This is a very ugly and manipulative spell. The purpose is to basically break a couple up. I suppose there are reasons and times to use such a spell and so I've put it up here. This spell comes from the Mediterranean.
If you wish to cease all passion between a couple, whisper the name of a couple four times into an open lock and then snap it shut. You must next keep the lock hidden away out of sight and away from it's key. Once the lock is opened, all the passion between the couple will return. It's probably a good idea to put the key on a string and wear it so no one can get ahold of it.

When It's Over, It's Over:
    This is a spell to gently get rid of an unwanted lover. Gather a handful of dried pumpkin seeds and go outside somewhere you won't be seen and the seeds can remain undistrubed. Once there, sit down and dig a small hole in front of you. Visualise your lover growing further and further away from you. While you are visualising bite down on a single pumpkin seed and toss it into the hole. Do this to all the seeds one at a time. Once you have finished, visuslise your life without the undesired lover. Be very careful not to see any harm coming to this person. After all of that cover the seeds and walk away without looking back.

Nettles to Nullify:
    This is a spell to break up the romance of another couple. This should be done during the waning moon. Scatter an area over which they will walk together with nettles for three consective months. Within three months of the last scattering, signs of the end of the realtionship should be obvious.

Banishing a Rival:
    This spell is from the Voudou tradition and is to cause a rival for someone's affection to become disinterested. You will need a small glass bowl, a cup of stagnant water, two teaspoons of vinegar, some lime juice, and some ground angelica. On a night during the waning moon go outside and mix all ingreidents together with a wooden spoon. Then, holding the mixture close to your face, breathe into it while verbally intoning the goal of your spell. Spit into the mixture and then go and pour it on the front porch of your rival without being seen. This will need to be done unseen for seven consecutive nights.

Discovering Your Rival:
     This is a spell to discover who your rival is. You will need a fire and a stick. Heat the tip of the stick in the flame until it is red hot. Next take it outdoors to an area near your home where you know your lover will have to walk over to come home to you. Using the red hot top write the name of your suspected rival on the ground. The name shouldn't be visable to anyone but you but still clearly there. Be sure to watch if your lover walks across this area on his/her way home. Later, if he/she complains of burning or sore feet, the name you had written was correct. If he/she does not complain try agian with another name the next night.

Yohimbe Root Spell:
     This is a Voudou tradition that cames from the New Orleans area of Louisiana. To sour your rivals feelings toward your lover toss some powdered yohimbe root across their pathway. This probably isn't a good idea to do at all, there is a high risk of death associated with this plant it is VERY dangerous. A safer method is dried, grated lime peel doused in vinegar to be substited for the yohimbe root.

A Bottle to Deflect a Romantic Rival:
Place some broken glass, rusty nails, and your own urine into a bottle. While you are creating this bottle visualise your rival losing interest in your lover. Makes sure you also visualise all of your rival's bad points so that they will be transmitted to the mind of your lover. Seal the bottle and bury it away from your home.

A Bottle to End a Romance:
   This is a bottle spell to help end a romance. Place items that represent your realtionship in the bottle and add some lime juice, vinegar, or spoiled milk. Now bury the bottle far away from your property. This spell can also work for other persons relationships that you wish to end or who have asked you to end them.

A Bottle to Help You or Someone Else Forget an Old Love:
    Put angelica, salt, and cyclamen in a bottle and fill it with water. Keep the bottle out of sight except for once a day wither at dawn or dusk. During this time shake it while focusing on a happy life without the person who you are wishing to forget.

Ending It:
    This spell should be preformed during the waning moon. Find a candle in a colour that does not appeal to you and lighti t. Let this candle represent the passion that has died in you. Anoint the candle with camphor oil and visuselise the candle representing passion on the wane. As the candle burns down, see it taking away passion. Once you have kept this up for as long as you can, douse the flame with the camphor oil. You may need to repeate this spell over several nights until you break the sexual bond with your former mate. Once you have finished for good bury the candle.
