| Spells to Draw Love to You |
| These spells are generally nonmanipulative in nature. These are the most widely accepted love spells (or as accpetable in most circles as it gets). These are spells that are simply to draw love to one, not a specific person. However, any spell can be made manipulative or nonmanipulative by the person's intent. Say for example I cast a spell to draw love to me, and it is pretty general and nonmanipulative in itself, but when I cast it I keep thinking about the man that I fancy the entire time. Unintentionally, I have just cast this spell specifically on him. This makes what was a generally nonmanipulative spell manipulative. When one is casting such spells and wishes to keep them nonmanipulative in nature, be sure to focus on QUALITIES in a person you want, not a person you want. |
| Magnetic Waters of Attraction: This spell is best done on a Friday during a New or Waxing moon. Items you will need are a glass bottle with a snug lid, an attractive bottle you would want to leave out on your nightstand or by your bed to remind you of your goal, and coloured glass jars with rubber seals. Be aware that the colour you chose may affect the energy of the spell. (Green- enhance fertility or beauty; Brown - enhance sensuality; Red - enhance sexual passion and lust; Pink - enhance romance; White - enhance spiritual aspects of love; Orange - enhance qualities of friendship; Blue - enhance fidelity.) Once you have your jar, wash it out with cool water and visualise all past energy being washed out and replaced by the energy you put in. It is important that you handle the jar at least once everyday until the spell is done. You will need a candle (colour chart above) of the colour of your choosing and a magnet or lodestone also. Orris root powder, rosemary needles, yarrow, jasmine oil, and liquid dragon's blood may also be used in this spell but they are not neccessary. On a new or waxing moon during the day spend a lot of time touching the magnet or lodestone. This is so that it absorbs a lot of your personal energy. It is also a good idea to spend time holding it and visualising your goal. Once the sun goes down gather your items and go to a well, lake, stream, sink, or other water source. Holding the stone/magnet in your hands, project your desire into it. Once you feel it is adequately charged drop the item into your jar. Cup your palms together and dip them in the water. As you touch the water fill it with your desire and drop it into the jar. Do this until the jar is about three fourths of the way full. If you have other herbs, add them now. (Be sure you have added your energy and infused them with your desire before you add them.) For this to work, dab the waters onto your skin before going out. While you are applying it be sure to visualise your goal. This spell may also be used to attract new friends. It is a rather bad idea to use this spell to attract sexual attention because this can create dangerous situations. Lavender Violet, Lavender Green: While getting ready to go somewhere you may meet a potential mate, burn a lavender candle. As you light the candle chant Lavender violet, lavender green No more I'm blue, I've found my queen/king. If you wish you may pass a rose quartz (or clear will do in a pinch) stone through the flame three times. Keep this on you when you go out. Fill Me Up with Your Love: This is best done on a Monday during a full or waxing moon. This is a spell to fill the empty spot inside of you that needs a new love. To cast this spell you will need a love drawing oil or vanilla extract, a single candle, and three chalices or glasses. Fill two of the chalices halfway and then place them on an altar or working area. Place the empty chalice in the middle and the other two on eithe side. The candle is needed for light; so light it now. The two half full chalices are you and the person you wish to draw into your life. The centre chalice is what you two will have together. Into the empty chalice drop the oil or extract and make a statement about the purpose of your spell. (Be careful to disceren if you are making this spell manipulative or not, this is where you will do that.) Taking the half filled chalices, begin pouring small amounts of water into the centre chalice. As you are pouring visualise the person you wish to draw into your life building a special realtionship with you. See the space inside you being filled up with love. Chanting will strenghten the spell. Chalice deep as a wishing well, Our spirits blend as I chant my spell; Love does come to fill our hears, By this spell the magick starts. A Love Talisman to Draw Love Into Your Life: This talisman is best made on a Friday or Sunday during a waxing moon. You will need a small square of felt or satin around nine inches square in either pink or red. Also, you need a stone to be the centre of the talisman (lodestone, rose quartz, or plain crystals reccomended), pink or red thread, a needle, dried herbs associted with love magick (orris root, yarrow, rue, rosemary, etc.), and a piece of paper and pen. On the paper write out your exact goal. Chant these words (it works best if they're a rhyme) several times a day until your goal has been achieved. Make a small square pouch from your material and using a needle and thread sew it up on three sides. Then charge the herbs and stuff them into the pouch. Now charge your stone with your desire and wrap it tightly in the paper. After that place the stone in the pouch and sew it shut. To attract romance carry the pouch with you. Petitioning the Divine: This is a love spell that combines traditional folk magick with Catholicism. This spell uses the Virgin of Guadalupe (a manifestation of the Virgin Mary which appeared in Mexico in the early 1900s.) One can find candles honouring her in many catholic supplies and occult stores but a white or blue candle may be substituted if one cannot be obtained. As with other spells, this spell can be modified to work with any diety. You will also need a pale blue cloth and some rosemary for this spell. This is a rather lengthy spell and will require about an hour of your time each day at the same time. Once you're ready to do the spell, sit comfortably in front of the candle and speak to the Virgin or chose diety. Let the diety know exactly what you are requesting. Keep petioning for as long as it seems practical. Be sure to visualise your goal! Once you want to complete the spell take a bath with the rosemary. A Bottle to Attract a New Love: Fill a bottle with items representing the type of person you wish to draw to you and the sort of life you would like with that person. Keep the bottle in a sunny window for a week and spend a little time each day meditating on your goal and charging the bottle. On the seventh day open the bottle to allow the love energy to go out and draw your partner to you. As you open the bottle be sure to visualise the energy flying off to do your bidding.
