The Sand Man
      This meditation is designed for those who have trouble sleeping at night.  Being by lying in the most comfortable position you can find.  In your mind, see yourself exactly as you are now, only your body is filled with sand like a ballon, and where your big toes should be, there are two large corks. 

       Slowly in your visualisation, move down and pull out the corks and watch as the sand slowly slips out of your toes.  As the sand is leaving each part of your body, feel your tensions and all the heaviness you have been carrying flowing out.  Allow every muscle and bone to relax until you are nearly weightless on the bed.  Continue this until your whole body is relaxed and empty of sand.  Most people will fall asleep long before the body is completely empty.
