Litha
Litha is celebrated around the 21st of June, it is the summer solstice or the longest day of the year.  Litha is also know as St. John's Day and Midsummer.  In Wiccan the universal goddess is seen as Mother Earth and the universal god is seen as the Sun King.  In other traditions Sun gods are honoured.
There are many pagan gathers that happen during June and ecspecially around the solstice.  This is because it is widely viewed that Midsummer is a festival of community and bounty.  Common activies are staying up all night on the Solstice Eve to welcome the rising sun and keeping a sacred fire burning throughout the gathering.  Much faery lore is associated with this night also.
