Lunar Correspondes with the Fae |
The moon affects nearly everything on this earth. It affects women and their cycles. It rules the tides and for years farmers have believed the moon affects how plants grow. For the faeries the moon also affects them. Some faeries become more active during certain moons than during others. The Wolf Moon (January) brings out Brownies and Gnomes. The Ice Moon (February) is said to awaken house fairies. "House faeries" are defined as the faeries of the house and of plants within the home. The Chaste Moon (March) drawns Air and Water faeries like Mer-people and the fae connected with spring rains and stroms. The Seed Moon (April) make the plant faeries more active. The Hare/Flower Moon (May) awakens elves and all faeries. The Dryad Moon (June) brings out zephyrs and sylphs. The Mead Moon (July) draws faeries of harvested crops and hobgolins. The Corn Moon (August) drings out dryads. The Wine or Harvest Moon (September) awakens the trooping faeries. The Blood Moon (October) draws out the plant faeries and frost faeries both. The Snow Moon (November) make subterranean faeries more active. |
The Cold Moon (December) wakes the Winter tree faeries, snow faeries, and the storm faeries. The Blue Moon attracts banshees and other fae who's job is to carry messages from one side to the other. |
